| I personally view testimonials a bit speculatively, but I've also seen a lot of articles that claim they give potential customers a warm & fuzzy feeling of comfort - we'll leave the study of THAT to the pros and they can let us study their watches. :o) Yes, these are actual customers' writings, with only minor corrections for spelling.
I got the watch- thanks again!! It works great, and looks like new! -Ward , CA, USA - repair customer, his grandpa's Pulsar P2! I love it!! Thanks for getting it running and looking so good It's a lot brighter than the P2. (Is that because of the "segment" type of LED vs. the dot-matrix of the older Pulsar? ) Well, whatever, this thing is cool! Thanks Ed! -Mike, CA, USA...a repair customer who had first sent his Hamilton to a well known company in Illinois. They told him "no luck". I told him $40 + shipping. :) Hi Ed: Got the watch today- its PERFECT. I have a few questions. when I need to replace the band, is there an easy way that I can do it myself? Any special tools? When it comes time to replace the battery, how would I be able to do that myself? Do you have any more of these type of watches available? Thanks. Oh, and I checked out the forum-its pretty, informative. - Jim, Georgia, USA - purchase customer....first a National Semi. from his youth, then a Pulsar Men's Dress...I think he's addicted now. LOL Hi Mr. Cantarella. I wanted to let you know that I received the watch yesterday and opened the box and found that my watch IS functioning correctly with a world of thanks to you!! I also want to express my most humble of thanks to you for accepting the work load for repair on this awesome timepiece. I believe that anytime I need help in ANY of my vintage digital watches for repairs, I WILL look towards you for that expertise! Sir, thank you so VERY much for your hard work! -Sam - N.Carolina, USA, repair customer, National Semiconductor LCD Calculator watch. I received my watch this morning.
The flick-wrist function is amazing; it works very well. The display is like a new one; no shadow behind the numbers; and the sensor does his job accurately. Thank you again for removing the links and setting time, date and day and seconds. I appreciate the way you make business; it is very professional. Best regards, Guy Butler - Québec, Canada, purchase.[Ok, this one is over the top - she asked if I had a testimonials page, I told her I was building one...this is what the lady wrote.] "With no pretense or guile, Ed Cantarella quietly operates as one of the few reputable digital watch mavens in the country. Not only is he knowledgeable and affable, but his professionalism is exceeded only by his peerless passion for vintage digital watch work. In today's world of eBay swindlers and false-front websites, Ed provides a trustworthy and valuable resource. He successfully serviced my vintage Hamilton LED when no other watchmaker or repair shop in New York City would even touch it; as it turns out, it was in great working condition--but it took a trained and patient eye to honestly discern that. Ed then cleaned the piece and replaced the crystal with precision and care. Most impressively: he inspected, serviced, and returned my watch with lightning speed. Ed Cantarella: honest, knowledgeable, efficient... and quite a likeable guy to boot. I've already referred his expert services to a number of friends. Thank you!" ~ Annie Yanger, NY, NY, USA - repair. Understandably, not every customer feels the same - sometimes our workload causes repair work to take 3-5 weeks after reaching us, and not every watch is repairable at what the customer considers an acceptable price. |
